Initial data
Support span in the longitudinal direction L = 10.0 m
Support step in the horizontal direction B = 5.0 m
Top mark of the flooring - 7 m
The operating load - 30 kN/m2
The considered frame is a beam cage that is located inside the volume of the building.
A beam cage is a structural complex formed by a system of beams of one or more directions, designed to absorb loads and transfer them to columns or walls.
Beam cages are used in work sites, coverings and ceilings of buildings, in spans of bridges, in gates of hydraulic structures, etc. A supporting flooring (steel or reinforced concrete) is laid on the beam cage.
According to the layout scheme in the plan, three types of beam cages are distinguished: simplified, normal and complicated.
The simplified type is based on the use of beams of one boards transmitting the load to the supports.
The normal type consists of main beams and floor beams over which the flooring is laid. The load from the deck is transferred sequentially to the deck beams, to the main beams, and then to the columns.
